Not impressed .... searching high and low for what my mother prepaid for her funeral, after my dad died...plot next to him etc., and they say "Gee we have no records".Be very careful with this lotUpdate....funeral home here in Victoria tried to contact them, to see who did plaque for one of my parents and they wouldn't even call them back...go elsewhere I say again
We recently had a death in the family and received excellent services from this business. Caz Matute handled our case in a sensitive and friendly manner. There was no pressure in any way.
Very professional and well run business. The two owners genuinely let you know they care and will make sure everything is in order. Very compassionate and they know how to handle people who have suffered recent losses.
Generous caring people, both owners and staff. They are an integral part of this community, involved in supporting Courtenay/Comox in so many ways. With regard to the one star review by Ally Johnston I asked about it. The reason their prearrangements couldn't be found was because THEY WEREN'T MADE WITH THIS FUNERAL HOME! Unfortunate that people get upset and post inaccurate reviews and then don't remove them. Comox Valley Funeral Home is fantastic. They go above and beyond for their clients and for their community.
As a volunteer with Kitty Cat Prevent a Litter Society, and a companion to an elderly lady who ADORES her cats, I am so happy to know that Comox Valley Funeral Home thinks of the animals! Working alongside them to ensure beloved cats will have a future in a time of sadness and disruption warms my heart. I would recommend their services to any family (easpecially with cats) when considering post-life services.
