I would give a lower rating but can only choose a "one star" as the lowest. Beside super crappy service towards women, (by "the boss"), I returned a ONE DAY OLD dolly (with my receipt) that broke the first time we used it. I bought the most expensive of the four choices they had, and was told it was good for 300-400 pounds. I mentioned that the wheel felt wobbly to "the boss" when I purchased it and he condescendingly and patronizingly told me it was "fine". Well, turns out it wasn't fine. The rim crumpled the first time we used it. I even brought photos with me of the things we were moving, to prove they weren't "overweight", and he still doubted and accused me. He treated me horribly to the point where my hands were shaking. I had to fight to get a measly 12$ replacement wheel, which he kept telling me loudly in front of all the other customers was a "one time deal", as though I was trying to scam him. They had to go through four replacement wheels before they could find one that didn't wobble. My hands were shaking and I left in tears. I will never step foot in this store again.
Pleasantly surprised, for all my years that Midlands has been around I thought they only sold knockoffs. Today I stopped in as I had some time to myself I was quite surprised to find a huge variety of name brand tools at fair prices. I will be back again.
The staff here are great and it makes all the difference in the world.
