Great place for the family. Theres a cottage just up the hill from the Resort. Check out Bates Beach Hideaway.
Best private camping site in Courtney. They have a bunch of RV camping and tent camping available. Kind owner and staff. Best part of this camping is you can reach a beautiful sand beach right in front of it. Kids love it. I visited 2 years in a row and it becomes my family tradition. Strongly recommanded.
This rating only applies to the kayak rentals. Service and price were very reasonable, but given the comparison with other kayak rental outlets, the equipment fell short of my expectations. The water was calm, but the single kayaks looked to be better equipped for a pond or small lake - certainly not the ocean. The tandem, however, was decent. Again, service was great!
The sites are nice and clean but very very close to one another, not much privacy. It is a big eldery community here. The shower in the women's bathroom doesn't have a lock it....showers are $1 for 4 minutes. The beach front is beautiful and renting kayacks and canoes are very easy to do.
Love the location and the people that run it are friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was the rocky beach. I prefer a sandy beach. Obviously something that's beyond their control LoL
