Terrible experienceIn conclusion, there was no level of customer service during this trip. It was a very unpleasant experience. The captain and only crew member we were made aware of during this trip, made it very clear he "took the shift to make extra money driving the boat", as he is retired. We feel deceived and taken advantage of. Our time and money was wasted. We have done extensive travelling and taken other snorkelling tours. This was not a tour.
Campbell River was a fantastic trip. Spent two days whale watching and a two more days scuba diving. Lots of whales, they came right up to the boat! And the diving was some of the best I've done on the island, lots of sea life! The dive center looked well equipped and offered all types of locations for all skill levels and the staff was really friendly. Pacific Pro dives boat was great for both the whale watching and the scuba diving.Definitely going back! I had a great time!!
We charted Pacific Pro Dive for Whale Watching at our wedding celebration from Heriot Bay in February 2018. We did two trips with full loads. Everyone had a great time, Captain Bill was a great host sharing his knowledge and experience of the coast with all our landlubber family, and everyone saw sea lions, seals, birds and a lot of Orcas. It was the highlight of the whole weekend!
We had a great experience with Pacific Pro Dive. We went out to Vivian island and saw the sea lions. The boat staywd the required hundred from them, but they came over to us eventually. Trish and Dan were friendly, available and knowledgeable. We had a bit of trouble finding the boat in the morning. If you're ever in our shoes in Comox, just go to the boat launch entry gate for people onto the docks, rather than just stand at the west boat launch.
Great afternoon on the ocean with Captain Elvis! What a lovely way to see the west coast! I will definitely be back for more.
