A couple of years ago, Dr. Plaxton was instrumental in helping save the eye-sight (and consequently the life) of a horse I was leasing. He had bi-lateral corneal ulcers and was in considerable pain and discomfort. Her care of this horse was outstanding, and I was impressed by her knowledge, commitment, compassion and professionalism. She even took the effort to consult with veterinary colleagues at various Universities, to ensure that she was doing everything possible for this horse.
