Working in the kitchen cabinet industry, it is a pleasure to be affiliated with Courtenay Appliances. They offer top notch products and are easy to reach and work with.
We went to Courtenay appliances to purchase all our appliances for our new build. We were going for L.G. ( tried and true ) never had a problem with them ever. We were told by Chantelle service for them on the island wasn't great. She took us to Jenn-Air recommending the line to us. The dishwasher door had to be replaced , the two doors on the fridge had to be replaced , one of them 3 times. The drawer front had to be replaced. The ice gasket had to be re-glued, orange glue everywhere ( gasket fell off, had to be re-glued. Problems with the gas range nobs. The washer can't wash bath matts ( no rubber ) washer goes off kilter and won't spin. The service has been just awful . I talked to Jenn-Air about the water dispenser sticking way out at the top , no seal to the fridge. They send me a spray bottle of stainless steel cleaner. Well it wasn't magic spray, what were they thinking? If I could I'd kick these appliances to the curb, never have I had such problems. If someone wants a certain line it's most likely because they trust that line.
We bought a full set of appliances; and received very poor advice about features or fit in our new kitchen. Stove was designed for a different sized counter, we were not told about the stove fan noise and the stove was mis-wired, we wanted to send it back but no luck. The fridge did not fit the opening designed for it and a second one needed to be purchased, again returns not accepted.The reply a month after the post rings hollow, as there were store visits, and numerous phone calls: at the time the stove had to be rewired, when the fridge didn't fit, new fridge, and about the mis-sized stove. Although our numbers and email are on file at the store, no contact has been made. The delivery guys gave us more info than we got from the store!
