I couldnt of been more happy with our stay here. Not only was the room fantastic, super comfortable bed, amazing water views (that we enjoyed sunset on) but just the most outstanding host. My bestie and I were island hopping and stopped in Comox, which was suppose to be just for a night.. turned two.. wished more! We were originally going to stay in a motel but were not vibing with the location so we called Verra at Estuary House and luckily we got a room! We arrived with a genuine warm welcome, cold water bottle and a helping hand to our room. Our breakfasts were prepared with thought and love.. not to mention the generous portions! I could not love this place and Verra more. Thank you for welcoming me and Sam into your establishment and giving us such an unforgettable experience! P.S: she even packaged up me some of her fresh grown produce.. which may or may not of been devoured as soon as we got into our car.
although a lovely location it is extremely noisy on a very busy road with only single pane windows, although a was to return the owner cancelled my reservations due to a tiny piece of gum she said i left on a window sill, also she tried to cover up for her lack of cleanliness by trying to blame me for someone else's nail clippings which i noticed in room but did not bring to her attention as i didn't want to embarrass her, she stated that she runs a respectable business and because of little piece of gum on sill she couldn't have me back... will never recommend this B&B for anyone who is told that this is your home away from home
