It is a new hotel. Parking is good and there is an ample amount. The location is good as there are many restaurants nearby. Check in was easy and quick. I did have a reservation made and it made the check in process easier. The front counter staff were very friendly. The room was quite nice and comfortable. I had a room with 2 queen beds. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there.
Spacious room with all the amenities. Comfy bed, clean. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast included. No complaints. Would stay again.
Room was the right size for my wife and daughter. The hot buffet breakfast was okay. The staff kept everything well stocked. My daughter loved the swimming pool and hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even asked if my daughter wanted to use the waterside but she is too small. Will definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.
Strengths: clean rooms, friendly staff, decent continental breakfastWeakness: pool slide was broken It's Holiday inn Express. We need a clean and comfortable place for two nights in Comox. The hotel includes a continental breakfast with hot options. Eggs, sausage and pancakes were hot.We picked this hotel because we liked the pool with the slide. Unfortunately the pool was being repaired the first night we were there. The slide was out of commission as some bus backed into the pool wall. The hotel did give us the option to visit the local pool and pay us back. It's a nice gesture but it's not convenient.
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Family suite is nice because it has three beds so six people (kids) can stay in a room. The only problem is it only has one bathroom which can make it challenging for six people. Even so, it was nice to be able to fit the whole family in one room. I'd stay there again.
